Job Summary:

  • An exciting opportunity within the Nursing Directorate of Suffolk and North East Essex ICB for a Business Support role for SNEE Safeguarding. The role involves providing excellent administrative service and covering various administrative duties within the Nursing Directorate.
  • The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, dependable, flexible, with excellent IT, numeracy, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of working to high standards and adapting to constant change within a sensitive and confidential role.
  • Expect a busy, challenging, and demanding environment where quick adaptation and initiative-taking are essential to tackle diverse challenges.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Efficient and confidential administrative support to the Nursing Directorate SNEE Safeguarding Team.
  • Administrative support for staff, patients, and clinicians' inquiries.
  • Coordinating diary events, arranging meetings, managing paperwork, and presentations.
  • Maintaining office systems and administrative procedures to achieve high standards of clerical services.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within the team and partner agencies.
  • Sorting incoming emails, dealing with correspondence, and handling enquiries with professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

To provide efficient and comprehensive administrative service to support the Nursing Directorate SNEE Safeguarding Team. Demonstrate organizational skills and a willingness to develop the role, ensuring high-quality support service.

Person Specification:

Experience

  • Significant administrative experience, maintaining office systems, handling confidential information.
  • Organizing meetings, diary management, knowledge of administrative procedures and IT systems.
  • Understanding of Data Protection Legislation.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in diverse environments, minute taking, clear communication, data entry, and organizational skills.
  • Personal judgment, ability to work under pressure, plan, organize, negotiate, and maintain accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Educated to NVQ 3/RSA 3 level or equivalent.
