Supply Planning Assistant - Operations

Locations:

THG Omega,

Skyline Dr, Burtonwood, Warrington WA5 3TP**
Summary of Position:Primary point of contact for external supplier base to schedule inbound deliveries and efficiently manage flow of goods through the inbound process whilst providing the necessary supporting data to the central Supply Chain team.
Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for arranging of inbound deliveries
  • Issuing of delivery slots in line with WH capacity, within desired SLA
  • Input of required receiving data into Supply Chain/Finance system
  • Internal and external NCR reporting and corrective action including the support any manual rework required within the warehouse, e.g. labelling, repalletisation
  • Space reporting to support capacity plans including daily counts of available locations
  • Support with Accounts Payable queries/invoice matching

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in using Sage
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
