Plant Yardman

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking and willing to learn Yardman to join our increasingly growing business.

As a Yardman, you will be responsible for general yard and storage shed tidying, Cleaning Machinery when returned from hire and making sure new plant going out is clean and in good order.

Help to load and unload plant from lorries.

Forklift license would be good but not essential. We are willing to provide forklift training and also training with our experienced mechanical team if interested.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts or other equipment
• Organize and maintain inventory in the yard
• Assist with materials handling and ensure proper storage
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Clean machinery and plant

Requirements:

• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely / not essential
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair / not essential
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
• Basic math skills for inventory management

Pay:
£13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
