About the Trust
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and north east Hampshire.
We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Answer telephone enquiries/messages and transmit to staff members according to priorities, maintaining a helpful and courteous manner at all times.
- Greet clients and visitors to the Trust and alert team members of their arrival including use of SystmOne or offer direction, as required.
- Assist staff, visitors, service users and other agencies by providing answers or information to requests made.
- Support team members in liaising with service users, relatives, cares, secretaries, GPs and other relevant care agencies.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- System knowledge of SystmOne
