Picker/Packer/Blind Technician/General Warehouse duties

Full-Time, Permanent position

Monday - Friday, 38 Hours

Starting at Minimum Wage reviewed after probation period

This job role includes but it is not limited to;

  • Handling, sorting and prioritising customer orders
  • Being able to interpret sizes and requests with confidence
  • Familiarise yourself and pick items required for custom orders.
  • Complete custom orders in a timely manner with impeccable workmanship
  • Ship orders required for that day to the customer
  • Occasionally empty container deliveries with your team members
  • Deal with returns and replenish stock
  • General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping
Required skill set;

  • Reliable. We are a very busy company who have to adhere to timescales and orders must be put out in a timely order. You must have excellent attendance.


 Quick Learner
  • You will need to be able to learn the product and systems quickly.


 IT Literate
  • You will need a sensible level of computer knowledge as we use an integrated system to dispatch orders.


 Motivated
  • You will be targeted and expected to hit certain figures whilst keeping errors low.


 Able
  • This job can be quite physical and you will be expected to lift heavy boxes.


 Team Player
  • You may be required to learn other areas of the warehouse or help your colleagues with their work.


 Safe
  • You must follow all health and safety rules when using the equipment in the factory.

Salary:
From £11.44 per hour
