We are seeking a Branch Controller for the Europe Branch of our Global Information Systems & Communications (GISC) department.

In this role you will be responsible for controlling and overseeing the financial and accounting operations while establishing, assessing and aligning global GISC processes & standards into the Europe branch.


You should be someone with a proven background in financial controlling and auditing, with experience working for large complex multinational organisations.

You will report into the Head of GISC EU and have line management responsibility for administrative staff members.

You will:

  • Control financial & accounting activities
  • Oversee all budgeting and forecasts process
  • Summarise budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to stakeholders
  • Ensure that accurate financial information is available when needed
  • Continuously review accounting operations to find and implement improvements as needed
  • Own monthend and yearend close of P&L statement and balance sheet (CAPEX)
  • Reporting findings to management on timely manner
  • Ensure global GISC processes and governance are properly built into GISC-EU Branch
  • Integrate and standardise processes & procedures from Global GISC to Local organization & Users.
  • Monitor the profitability results of the Branch with Budget KPIs

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Finance or Accounting certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in financial & accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial role
  • A high degree of business acumen and business partnering experience to nonfinance stakeholders
  • Sufficient influencing skills to communicate at a senior level through clear analysis and presentation
  • Confident and able to present complex information and engage with internal and external customers whilst adapting style for different audiences (Impeccable analytical and organisational skills)
  • SAP Financials experience, excellent Excel skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools
