Platform Specialist Position at a Leading Public Sector Company

I am collaborating with a reputable organization in the public sector to recruit a talented Platform Specialist to be part of their dynamic IT team. As the chosen candidate, you will play a crucial role in system design, technical documentation, task automation, and overseeing medium to large-scale IT projects.

Your daily tasks will be diverse, and you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert knowledge in Office 365 with a focus on migration and support.
  • Managing legacy Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange systems in a hybrid enterprise environment.
  • Leading the technical deployment of SharePoint & Power Platform solutions.
  • Automating regular tasks through PowerShell and Azure-based DevOps tools.
  • Offering administrative assistance to users across Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Applications.

In order to excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint, MS Teams, and deployment of Power Tools.
  • Proficiency in advanced scripting, particularly PowerShell, and automation techniques.
  • Management and oversight of enterprise-scale Azure tenancy.
  • Robust project management capabilities, including familiarity with methodologies like Prince 2.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational proficiencies.
  • Knowledge of prominent IT industry standards like ITIL, ISO, and Prince 2.

Our client is providing a competitive salary of up to £68,000 for this role, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. This package encompasses access to a holistic health and wellbeing program, as well as supported learning and growth opportunities. Although initially a fixed-term contract for 12 months, there is potential for the position to evolve into a permanent role for the right individual. This opportunity includes a hybrid work setup, with a primary location at our client's London office.
