ENT Consultant - Rhinology

This substantive ENT consultant post is based in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust which comprises of 3 hospitals: Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Wycombe Hospital and Amersham Hospital.

There will be on call commitments in Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust (OUHFT) as well as the opportunity to develop additional clinical activities there.

Planned AAC Interview Date is Thursday 15 February 202- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of ENT

• To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Education.
• To work within a team to address ENT problems within the inpatient population of BHT
• To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
• To participate in the on call emergency rota at OUHFT as a 1 in 14 on call service as consultant on call with Specialty Registrar and Core Trainee or Foundation Doctor as a team. This covers referrals from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire (no emergency or inpatient ENT service) as well as tertiary referrals from surrounding hospitals eg Milton Keynes University Hospital and supporting OUHFT inpatient services including neurosurgery and paediatric intensive care units.
• To attend OUH Clinical Governance and Audit sessions.
