Job Title: Domestic Assistant at Mill Street Centre

Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment for others? Join our Facilities Team at the Mill Street Centre in Crewe as a Domestic Assistant We provide full training and a uniform for successful candidates.

You'll work alongside a team, covering for leave and sickness. Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.

Seeking Part-time role for 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 3 hours per day, 5pm - 8pm).

Main Duties:

  • Follow NPSA standards for cleanliness
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish
  • Wash dishes
  • Order cleaning materials
  • Maintain equipment
  • Report faults
  • Communicate incidents

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • General Education
  • Completion of an accredited Level 2 award in cleaning

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning
  • Food Safety qualification

Knowledge and Expertise:

Essential:

  • Ability to accept and prioritize instructions

Desirable:

  • Previous NHS cleaning knowledge

Experience:

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of cleaning services

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in Domestic Services and/or catering
  • Experience with public-facing roles
