Blaise Veterinary Referral Centre will be a large-scale, multi-disciplinary, specialist-led referral hospital which encompasses the culture and values we pride ourselves on at IVC Evidensia.

Blaise will add to our extensive referral network, which now consists of over 100 referral sites across the UK & Ireland.

In addition to our referral teams on site, the 24-hour hospital will be home to our Vets Now at Blaise emergency service.


In partnership with Vets Now, the UK's leading provider of emergency pet care, our out-of-hours team will be here to provide an emergency service to local first opinion practices at nights, weekends and bank holidays, and to also ensure continuity of care for inpatients that have been seen by our referral team.

Lead an exceptional team


As 1 of 2 clinical team leaders, this is a shared management position where you and your counterpart will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our OOH service.

You will oversee the efficiency of our nurse-led floor, dealing with a wide range of emergency and critical care cases and monitoring patients from our referral services.


Clinically, your role will include:
Emergency triage and procedure nursing
Inpatient care within our ICU, general and isolation wards
Monitoring anaesthesia of emergency services


You should have a keen interest in coaching and mentoring your team to develop their skills and offer continued support.

Working pattern


A full-time role with us will comprise 40 hours per week and will include weeknights, weekends and bank holidays, following an on-off shift pattern.
