To cover short term absence the Security Guard will work closely with the other Security Guards and report to the Security and Operations Manager in order to ensure that the students, faculty, staff and visitors are safe and secure on the school's premises.


Main Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for visitors, students, parents, contractors;
  • Provide a timely and courteous concierge service to all stake holders;
  • Adhere to security procedures and protocols including current COVID19 mitigations;
  • Perform regular patrols, monitor CCTV, be able to execute static and in motion tasks for long periods of time in inclement weather;
  • Report any suspicious behaviour/activity observed and be proactively involved in all daily duties; and
  • Handle deliveries according to protocols in place.

The post holder will have:

A current Security Industry Authority (SIA) certificate;
Previous experience as a Security Guard;
Good communication skills, both verbal and written; and

Ability to use own initiative and know when to seek guidance and support.
