Working in a Finance team of 3 alongside the FC and Assistant Accountant this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys taking the lead and managing the Credit Control andSales Ledger.

You will be joining a well-knownretail brand working a hybrid pattern between their Putney HQ and home.

Package:

  • Basic Salary up to £30,000.
  • Hybrid working, 2 days at home, 3 days at Putney HQ (first 4 weeks training at HQ)
  • Monday to Friday 95.30pm.
  • 23 days holiday per annum.

  • Location: nearest tubes East Putney / Putney Bridge or 7minute walk to Putney Train Station.

Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Keeping debtors' collections within target.
  • Chasing overdue debts.
  • Sending out reminders.
  • Managing your own credit control calendar.
  • Managing and maintaining the sales ledger customer accounts (40%):
  • Reconciling customer accounts, debtor listing and unreconciled cash.
  • Performing credit checks and periodical reviews of customer credit limits.
  • Periodical reviews of customer contact details.
  • Taking customer payments over the phone.
  • Processing and posting daily receipts.
  • Performing monthend bank reconciliations.
  • Processing and distributing of credit notes to wholesale customers.
  • Generating reports.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong arithmetic, typing and computer skills (specifically Excel).
  • An understanding of any accounting software (Sage 200 used currently).
  • Excellent time management, telephone, and communication skills.
  • An investigative mind with attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency and accountability.
  • Natural ability to build relationships with customers with a kind yet firm disposition.
