Job Description LINUX Systems Administrator
Hybrid Working (4 days per week, Monday to Thursday)
Contract Duration: 6-month contract with potential for long-term engagement

Compensation:
Competitive rate (Inside IR35) + On-Call Bonuses

Are you a skilled Linux Systems Administrator looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We have a fantastic opportunity that offers not just great pay, but also the chance to work on exciting projects with major Government and Commercial Customers

Daily Management:
Oversee and support Linux and SAN platforms across operational, test, and development environments.

System Upgrades :
Plan, implement, validate, and document all changes to Linux environments to ensure smooth operations.

Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on Linux-related incidents, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with team members to meet service performance targets and provide on-call support on a rota basis (one week on, one week off).

Experience: 5+ years in complex Linux environments.

Red Hat Linux OS (including Centos, Red Hat, SUSE)
Red Hat Automation Platform (Ansible, including Tower implementations)

Performance Tuning:
Skilled in performance monitoring and tuning of operating systems and hardware.

Networking:
Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, fibre channel, SAN experience).
