The Role:


As the Operations Lead you are responsible for providing dynamic management and leadership to all non-clinical services and colleagues within the centre.

To build engaged teams who provide high quality, efficient and consistent ways of working.

Under the direction of the Centre Leader, take a lead role in developing, implementing, and improving the operational model of both the patients accounts officer team and medical secretary team to support the delivery of the strategic priorities of the centre and GenesisCare UK.

What You'll Do:

  • Be accountable to the Centre Leader for the delivery of key operational, performance, quality, safety and workforce targets including the preparation of operational performance and quality updates
  • Providing assurance to the Centre Leader that the appropriate management processes are in place to ensure regulatory, policy and process compliance and foster a culture of open reporting and learning to improve patient care pathways.
  • Be responsible for engaging non clinical staff in the patient management pathway and clinical agenda. Work closely with the Clinical Services Managers to ensure delivery of robust patient safety, quality and clinical risk management strategies for the required services.
  • Be responsible for day to day facilities management of the centre, organising remedial works and maintaining accurate servicing and maintenance records for the centre. Working closely with the Centre Leader to ensure optimal maintenance of facilities to maintain a safe, high quality environment for patients and staff.

Experience and skills:

  • Evidence of effective management of staff and cooperative working
  • Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working in a healthcare industry
  • Experience of developing quality improvement plans and imbedding continuous improvement into the operational management process
  • Skilled at building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders, working collaboratively with and influencing others
  • Able to make independent judgments/decisions, ability to solve problems
  • Able to work flexibly to achieve GenesisCare business objectives
  • Able to act as a trainer and mentor for staff

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Strong IT skills with ability to use:
  • Excel and databases
  • PowerPoint to produce presentations
  • Able to communicate and articulate reports
