We are currently recruiting for an
Inventory Clerk to join our amazing Service Centre Team.
The role is based in our Kettering DC, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am pm.


As the
Service Centre Receiving / Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all repairs at the point of entry to the Service Centre using ERP and WMS from Snap-on Tools Franchisees and customers.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Receiving all repair items into the Service Centre both physically and systemically
  • Maintaining the expectations of high accuracy of data inputting
  • Raising of new Service orders when requested
  • Follow current work instructions for maintaining accurate repair record keeping
  • Ensuring proper locating of repairs before and after completion
  • Notify leadership of inventory discrepancies or nonconformities immediately
  • Accurately log all parts used in a repair to ensure inventory quantities are correct

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has prior experience in a warehouse environment, in particulars in either Goods In or Receiving departments for a repair, assembly or engineering business
  • Has experience as a picker or store person and understands stock control
  • Can work safely and independently
  • Can achieve daily targets in a rapid repair/assembly environment
  • Is IT literate and has experience with ERP systems and/or digital job cards
  • Can demonstrate working effectively as part of a small team, ensuring daily tasks were performed
  • Can read & write fluently in English and conduct themselves professionally in customer communications
