Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow (post-CCT) in Dermatology (Mohs Surgery) at Addenbrooke's Hospital part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This post has a flexible starting date and is available to commence from the 07 August 2024 for a period of 12 months.

Main duties of the job

The Dermatology department is patient focused and delivers clinics and surgeries at the hospital and several community hubs. Phototherapy (PUVA, TLO1) and skin surgery facilities are available. Specialist services include Mohs surgery, Genetics, Paediatrics, Patch testing, Vulval dermatoses and Photodermatoses.

This post will provide the opportunity to perform Mohs surgery independently (at least 100 cases) and dermatopathology training.

In order to be considered, applicants must meet the essential criteria in the person specification and have:

full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application

completed Specialty Registrar training in Dermatology in the UK or equivalent with CCT

Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
