Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and uniforms according to established procedures
  • Inspect linens and uniforms for damage or stains and report issues to the supervisor
  • Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry room
  • Keep track of inventory levels and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic working environment

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Strong attention to detail to spot stains or damages on linens and uniforms
  • Good organisational skills to manage laundry tasks effectively
