A successful Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm, based in Newton Abbot is recruiting an experienced Account Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the production of Sole Trader Accounts, Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts and Management Accounts as well as Corporation and Self-Assessment Tax Returns.


Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily communications and enquiries
  • Writing up accounting records, performing account reconciliations
  • Tracking statutory filing deadlines
  • Assisting in administrative tasks as required

Accounts Assistant Requirements:

  • AAT level 3 or above
  • 3 years of practice experience
  • Experience with computerised or online accounting software
  • Strong organisational skills, managing own workload whilst working within a team
