Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. As a Scaffold Builder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling scaffolding structures for various construction projects.

This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.


Responsibilities:

  • Construct and assemble scaffolding structures according to blueprints and specifications
  • Inspect scaffolding components for damage or defects before assembly
  • Secure scaffolding to the building or structure using ropes, ties, or clamps
  • Ensure scaffolding is stable and level by adjusting the base plates and leveling screws
  • Install guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets to prevent falls
  • Dismantle scaffolding structures after the completion of the project
  • Maintain and repair scaffolding equipment as needed

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and pliers
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques for scaffold construction
  • Familiarity with electrical systems for scaffold lighting installation
  • Understanding of masonry techniques for securing scaffolding to walls or structures
  • Ability to plumb and align scaffolding accurately
  • Knowledge of roof safety procedures when working on elevated platforms
  • Experience in painting or carpentry is a plus
