Role responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the SEO Manager, you'll be responsible for helping to deliver the SEO strategy for Decathlon UK.
  • Working with UX & website teams to improve technical foundations / website architecture.
  • Work with our SEO agency, as well as coordinate external and internal copywriter resources.
  • Collaborating with international technical teams to ensure best SEO practices are properly implemented.
  • Conduct on
- and off-page SEO audits.

  • Produce regular SEO reports on organic performance.
  • Educating stakeholders on SEO strategy deliverables and SEO processes.
  • Lister page creation briefs.
  • Review web architecture.
  • Competitor analysis.
  • Local store page support & GMB support.

About yourself:

  • You've been in the SEO industry for at least 23 years with proven results.
  • You have excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills.
  • You are able to build relationships within the Performance Marketing Team and relevant stakeholders.
  • You can contribute to SEO training sessions.
  • You are passionate and eager to learn.
  • You are fluent in English (native level).

Professional skills and & qualifications (desired but not mandatory):

  • You are used to working with and manipulating large data sets
  • You can use the following SEO tools to create detailed SEO recommendations: SEO Monitor, ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Oncrawl.
  • You can use Google suite tools to create detailed SEO recommendations and reports: Google Search Console, Google Data Studio.
  • You are familiar with project management tools such as Jira and Clickup.
  • You are able to create detailed keyword landscapes using a variety of data sets.
  • You can lead in the creation and communication of SEO reporting. You have a deep understanding of metrics and the drivers behind them.
  • Experience working with CMS and building / administering content in CMS environment
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/ JavaScript and website administration
