An innovative product design and manufacturing business with an ambitious growth strategy which will see turnover and customer numbers increase significantly over the next 3-4 years.

The UK business is a subsidiary of a large Pan-European group, and is ledby a successful entrepreneurial MD with 25 years industry experience.

Customers range from small independent privately owned businesses through to FTSE Plc groups.

THE OPPORTUNITY


An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join as Interim Finance Manager and provide critical financial and commercial support to the MD and Board for a c.3 month period.


The business is lean and agile, and the Interim Finance Manager will have full responsibility over all aspects of financial & management accounting and commercial finance across the business.


As Interim Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts including financial analysis and commercial commentary, and presenting to MD and Board of Directors
  • Providing the Managing Director with regular commercial sales and margin reports / analysis
  • Cash Flow forecasting and financial strategy planning with the Managing Director
  • Reviewing commercial information on sales and product costs, optimising pricing on new and existing products
  • Bank Reconciliations and multicurrency payment transactions
  • Overseeing Purchase & Sales Ledger, Payroll (outsourced) and other areas of finance

THE PERSON
You will be an experienced Finance Professional able to start w/c Monday 13th March 2023 (or no later than w/c Monday 20th March) with the following skills and experience:

  • Financial & Management Accounting experience within an SME business environment
  • Experience of supporting an MD / Owner with the financial management of a growing business
  • Conversant with Sage 50
