Finance Manager, Financial Accounting

Our client is a locally established name in the legal sector and they are now looking for someone to join them as Head of Finance.


This role will be integral in the continued development of the accounts department and be a key member of the SLT.

Producing statutory accounts in accordance with SRA regulations
~Reviewing financial systems and implementing improvements as appropriate
~Partnering with stakeholders, providing advice and insight from a financial perspective
~Ensuring annual audit is completed on time and working closely with auditors as required
~Overseeing billing process and ensuring debtors are maintained inline with expectations
~Ad hoc project work


The successful candidate will have proven experience working in the legal sector and will have a solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Experience working in local government would also be a distinct advantage.
Advanced Excel skills are a must as experience of legal accounting software.
