Job Overview

  • To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
  • Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
  • To undertake additional training to ensure continuous selfdevelopment.

Main Duties

  • Delivering an effective and professional security service on site
  • Working together a large team of Security Officers and 3 other Team Leaders.
  • Coordinate a team of 58 personnel on a daily basis ensuring all core duties are fulfilled to a high standard.
  • Report to the Site Manager providing crucial updates and data.
  • Be the first point of contact for the Security team and deal with daytoday matters such as standards of dress, discipline, and conduct are met and adhered to.
  • Liaise with variety of stakeholders including the military and attend meetings when required.
  • Complete and maintain regular reporting duties including an effective shift handover.
  • Patrolling the site via 4x4 vehicles (day and night) and reporting any significant risks or damage.
  • Supporting Air Traffic Control with incident on the runway.
  • Working in a control room environment monitoring CCTV, Intruder, Fire, Panic and building management systems (BMS).
  • Escorting VIP's and government services on and off site at short notice.
  • Issuing of building keys and hire cars.
  • Completing onetoone job chats with team members and daily checks documented.
  • Ensuring all duties performed are in line with the Assignment Instructions and the GSSOR.
  • Communicating with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the Security Control Room using the phonetic alphabet.
  • Reporting any Health and Safety concerns and observations.
  • To be responsible for the daytoday operation of Security.
  • Be the first point of contact for the Security team and deal with daytoday matters such as standards of dress, discipline, and conduct are met and adhered to.
  • Assist in ongoing training to resident security teams and ensure all new security officers are fully trained and inducted to the site procedures and policies including CCTV, access control systems, deliveries and removals, fire alarms and intruder alarm.
  • Develop teamwork within the workforce, ensuring high morale through effective motivational methods.
  • Assist in review of Security Officers performance and development.
  • To assist in any security / equipment investigations, i.e. thefts, missing items, complaints etc.
  • Provide customer / client liaison as and when required.
  • Ensure that any important messages are conveyed in the Security Handover and that all security personnel read and acknowledge them.
  • Ensuring security records and logs are being kept up to date.
  • Ensure the security team are compliant with all relevant legislation on data protection.
  • Supporting the Management in maintaining the integrity of security at on a day to day basis.
  • Assisting the Management in providing a first class operational security service at in an efficient and cost effective manner.
