Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the procurement of goods and services for the company
  • Assist the team with sales enquiries producing quotations for the customer
  • Data input from breakdown works completed on site
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track stock movement
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost savings opportunities
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
  • To assist with maintaining the outstanding back orders
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth production planning and execution
  • Support logistics activities, including shipping and receiving of goods
  • Day to day ad hoc activities

Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales and purchasing is preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft based programmes


This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the success of our company's operations.


The working pattern is Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (40hours per week) with 2 x 10 minute breaks (morning and afternoon) and a 30 minute lunch break.

20 days holiday (to be accrued) plus bank holidays per year

Salary to be discussed based on experience
