Are you an Engineering Manager with a background in the Life Science and Biopharmaceutical sector?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Site Facilities Engineer to run the facilities management operations at a brand new state of the art biopharmaceutical production facility based in Oxfordshire.

Your duties as the Site Facilities Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

# The Site Facilities Engineer will report into the Site Leader, with a dotted line into the Engineering Director based in the US. You will be responsible for the daily building operations to ensure uninterrupted facility systems to support biopharmaceutical production.
# You will have direct oversite of all maintenance and projects related to the facility, including production equipment and systems. Facilitate routine maintenance on building systems including air handlers, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, valves, cold rooms, stand-alone freezers and refrigerators. Work may be performed by the individual or by contractors.
# Troubleshoot issues with building equipment and building management systems to identify problems and develop solutions. Perform non-routine maintenance to enable rapid resolution of any issues to return building systems to normal use. You will also be required to plan and schedule production shut-downs as needed for maintenance activities.
# Participate in scope development and design of projects for new production areas and modifications to existing production areas. Including providing technical guidance on mechanical systems in support of capital projects and facility enhancements.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Site Facilities Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
# The successful candidate will ideally posses a degree qualification within an Engineering or Scientific discipline, or equivalent engineering certification and experience in a HVAC, Electrical or Facilities-related role. Proven industry experience working in a clean room environments within the Life Science and Biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Other highly regulated industries, such as the Pharmaceutical sector will also be considered.
# You will have demonstrated experience in leading and implementing engineering related projects. As well as, knowledge of mechanical and process systems employed in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing process.
