The Position**:


We are looking for a highly skilled communications professional to join our growing marketing team within an exciting, fast-paced scale-up based in the North East.

The role is a Hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week based in our new offices in Peterlee.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the internal communications calendar and other adhoc internal staff communications.
  • Create and manage the internal communications strategy, ensuring it engages employees and covers all relevant topics and following Everflows's brand guidelines and tone of voice guide.
  • Act as an ambassador for Everflow, promoting positive engagement and promotion of the brand and internal events.
  • Coordinate daytoday communications to all colleagues, working closely with key stakeholders to deliver companywide communications.
  • Maintain and update the intranet, ensuring content is easy to find and employees are engaging.
  • Ensure internal mailing lists are accurate and up to date.
  • Constantly research and keep abreast of trends and tools in internal communications to ensure we are top of our game.
  • Support departments across the company in ensuring they are communicating their activities with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the external comms team to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date with communications that will affect them or their teams.
  • Own, develop and contribute to the relevant processes and ways of working to support successful content production, communications and campaigning planning and delivery.
  • Report on the results of the internal comms strategy
  • Assist with events from a comms perspective.

What we look for:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Writing English or Marketing.
  • Previous experience in a communications role.
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • Experience writing news stories, features, and explainers, including subbing content provided by others.
  • Capability in handling stakeholders with competing demands or difficult issues in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
  • Capability in planning and delivering a content calendar using content from multiple sources.
