Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to clean our kitchen and help the bakery team.

This is an entry-level job but is an invaluable role which has plenty of scope for progression and increasing responsibilities.

Kitchen Porter responsibilities include washing equipment, keeping floors clean, sanitising food preparation areas, cleaning the large equipment, and occasionally helping with food prep work.

You'll be responsible for:

• Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean, tidy, and sanitised
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash cookware, utensils, equipment, and machines
• Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organised
• Take out the rubbish and clean the bins inside and out.
• Help with routine food prep tasks (such as olive chopping, herb picking, and weighing of ingredients.)

You will:

- be a fast learner with an interest in kitchen work
- have the ability to stand for long hours
- have the willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
- have good organisational skills
- have the ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
- you will also show patience and cool-headedness
