Due to expansion, we have new opportunities for dispatch operatives to join the team in our workshop in Larling, Norfolk.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading/Unloading lorries
  • Ensuring goods dispatched are packaged correctly to prevent damage in transit
  • Ensuring loads are secure, safe, and accessible for each separate delivery
  • Ensuring loads fit to maximise space and weight on the lorry
  • Counting and checking goods in and out, signing off paperwork
  • Prioritising workloads (delivery schedule/production schedule)
  • Liaison with Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Production Planning Departments to ensure customer orders are correct.
  • Liaison with delivery drivers, ensuring they have the correct information.
  • Ensuring lorries and keys are secure at all times (night and day)
  • Able to work safely within HSE regulations
