Based in the beautiful north of Scotland/Moray, ESS Recruit's client is a well-known and stable CNC machining business. They have a proud history and long expertise supporting clients across construction, automotive, energy and material handling. They are looking to hire a QHSE Manager to support their ongoing operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the existing Quality Management System, managing non-conformities or complaints, ensuring that parts conform to specifications, and carrying out internal audits.

They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and developing/managing procedures.

The ideal candidate should have a strong manufacturing background, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, be NEBOSH qualified, and have excellent working knowledge of relevant compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain and develop the existing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management SystemnManage all internal Non-Conformities and Customer Complaints including Root Cause AnalysisnManage and develop Quality Control processes to ensure that parts received from suppliers or those manufactured in-house conform to specificationsnManage and develop Quality Control processes to ensure that the final product produced conforms to the specifications and requirements laid out by the customernManage and carry out internal audits as per the approved internal audit schedulenProduce monthly reports showing performance against business Quality objectives.

nProduce monthly reports showing performance against departmental KPI'snEnsure the company is in compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and standardsnDevelopment and management of the Health & Safety processes and proceduresnLead on all employee Occupational Health related matters including annual Biological monitoring of specific employees

Knowledge and skills

Strong manufacturing backgroundnExcellent working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirementsnNEBOSH qualifiednAttention to detailnExcellent Communication SkillsnProficient in the use of Microsoft Office
