Our client is experiencing a growth in orders and has recently acquired new CNC machines, therefore, they are looking for a CNC Programmer / Machinist preferably located in or around Leicester.

As a CNC Programmer / Machinist, your main tasks will involve programming HAAS VF XYZ milling machines, setting up new programs, and running the machines. Knowledge of operating other manual machines would be beneficial. Proficiency in milling and turning parts is essential.

Desirable skills as a CNC Programmer / Machinist:
  • Experience in CNC Programming (NOT just editing) and operating
  • Able to convert drawings to programs
  • Must be open to working overtime
  • Experience with HAAS VF/11 VF/9, Bridgeport, Hurco, Hardinge, Colchester
  • Capacity to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
