Salary:
£23,096 pro-rata - Please note this is a part-time position (32 hours)

What you'll be doing:

• Support to planning activities supporting Assurance & Acceptance events leading to completion of Customer acceptance forms, including Installation Inspections, Harbour Trials and Sea Trials and maintain related event schedules
• Work alongside but independently from production to ensure that the correct material movements and production counts are input in SAP
• Responsible for converting planned orders to production orders and allocate materials, record production counts, defective quantities and direct hours to production orders.
• Reconciling the direct labour hours worked to the underlying records in SAP
• Management of the production orders through to settlement to ensure that the correct costs are applied to products and that cost price differences are kept to a minimum.
• Responsible for the operation of inventory cycle counting in line with Financial Control Framework requirements and to investigate any stock differences which may occur as part of the production process.
• Interacting with all functions associated with inventory and production to ensure the appropriate level of control is maintained

Your skills and experiences:

• Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Shop Floor Data Capture Management
• Good knowledge of Shop Floor processes
• Good attention to detail & Accuracy
• Inventory Management
• Good knowledge of cycle counting procedures

The Inventory Team:

As part of this role you will be responsible for the recording and control of material movements from raw material through WIP to finished goods, and where required support booking of direct/indirect labour hours worked to products and provide production information which will ultimately drive business performance measures.
