I have been instructed on an exciting opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer to join a well established law firm in their Skegness offices in Lincolnshire.

This role would suit someone with upwards of 2 years experience from a Residential Conveyancingbackground.

My client is a specialist company providing a range of services to clients across the East Midlands.

They have gone from strength to strength over their years of establishment and now have solidified their client base across commercial and private settings.

The role

  • You will be responsible for your own caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters, including Sales, Purchases, Re-Mortgage and Transfer of Equity from start to finish
  • This will include drafting your own letters, file notes and relevant legal documentation
  • Drafting contracts, Land Registry and HMRC documentation
  • Acting as the point of contact for your clients, handling initial enquiries and taking instructions
  • You will produce letters which will be tailor to each individual client's needs, draft file notes and other relevant legal documentation
  • Advising clients accurately on the law using jargonfree language
  • You will negotiate matters with clients and other third parties to ensure agreed objectives
  • Time recording your work with accuracy
  • Calculating claims for damages, compensations and maintenance
  • From time to time, you can expect to be taking part in business development initiatives to encourage new clients and referrals
You must be a Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or qualified by experience from a Residential Conveyancing background. In order to be considered for this role, you must be confident in handling your own sales and purchase files

Whilst it is desired for you to have experience in new build, shared ownership and leasehold properties, it is not essential to be successful as full training will be provided.
