We have been instructed by a client with a unique and interesting portfolio to search for an Asset Manager to work as part of a team responsible for the pro-active asset management of the estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of this interesting portfolio, while advancing your career in property.

The Role

As Asset Manager, you will:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio, ensuring ground lease events such as rent reviews, lease expiries, and breaks are actioned efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for redevelopment, lease re-gears, or change of use to maximize income and enhance value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on planned maintenance, repairs, and legal compliance.
  • Prepare budgets, oversee income and expenditure, and identify opportunities for capital receipts or portfolio improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the Foundation's broader goals.
  • Develop and implement policies, strategies, and delivery plans to support asset performance and sustainability.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification (RICS preferred or working towards Chartership).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in property, with a proven track record in asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of property management, compliance, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • A collaborative and innovative approach, aligned with our charitable and sustainability commitments.
