What You'll Do:
- Advance the performance of coatings on sustainable leather textiles from R&D to production.
- Collaborate with coating suppliers and universities to develop cutting-edge solutions.
- Optimise coating effectiveness, assess its impact on product performance and work on scale-up processes from ideation to full-scale manufacturing.
- Manage your own projects, support production scale developments, and test new coating technologies.
- Provide recommendations for new technical solutions and work closely with our production facilities.
What We're Looking For:
- Education in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science focusing on coatings, polymers, or soft matter.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in the coating industry, ideally experience in industries as diverse as printing, packaging, paint, flooring, moulding, cinema screens, or polymers.
- Skills: Data analysis, problem-solving, managing external suppliers, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
