We have an exciting opening for a Regional Manager to lead our North region. Reporting into the Head of Site Operations, you'll provide leadership across the region, motivating your team to deliver a safe, clean, welcoming and vibrant environment.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Own the recruitment, onboarding, training and retention of your teams across your region
  • Be the centre of all regional communications across the functions of iQ ensure the team have clarity on roles and responsibilities at all times
  • Hold regular site visits with site teams and managers to track performance across the balanced scorecard
  • Manage the performance of the regional team, ensuring reward and recognition is a priority and also that poor performance is nipped in the bud in a timely manner
  • Ensure all mandatory training and role based training is kept up to date across the region
  • Explore the talent matrix and succession plan to ensure high performance in the team
  • Build a culture of high standards of compliance working with HAST & Estates
  • As a minimum host a fortnightly meeting with key stakeholders and the team to ensure best practice and compliance across the region
  • Achieve high compliance through the HAST audit scheme, exceeding the benchmark
  • Site teams to be fully staffed with ‘Keyholder' trained iQers at all times
  • Site teams to have adequate MHFA trained staff at all times
  • React to and own incidents across the region ensure
  • Carry out iQQi audits to ensure teams are delivering the brand standard and operations compliance
  • Ensuring sites are carrying out iQQi audits and executing the OPS Standards SOP
  • Engage with the regional HAST / ESTATES & ASSET teams sure iQ properties are on brand and fit for customers,
  • Develop asset plans with the asset team to ensure the iQ Proposition is continually evolving to meet the future needs of the customer
  • Ensure the site teams deliver the operations standards of iQ HOW
  • Lead the teams to deliver an NPS score and move in and move out which exceeds the company target
  • Ensure response times are met across all sites and escalations are owned and resolved in the region
  • Own the roll out of initiatives from the central functions across all sites
  • All sites to be at 4* and above across all review platforms such as Google and StudentCrowd
  • Hold weekly trade review meetings within the region
  • Attend meetings with University partners ensuring a health long term relationships

Experience and skills:

  • Proven track record of managing large multi-skilled teams
  • Experience in financial management and budget control
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on experience obsession
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead change/continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrable management and leadership skills sufficient to recruit, lead, direct, evaluate and manage team members to achieve high performance.

We work a hybrid working model with 3 days in our sites, across Scotland and the North.
