GlobalData is looking foran individual who has an interest, some experience in, or ispassionate about conducting market research within the healthcaresector. We are hiring for an analyst position within the oncology& hematology team.

This position directlycontributes to the high-quality business intelligence thatGlobalData provides, and will involve conducting a range ofinvestigative, assessment, and forecasting activities for thehealthcare sector through secondary research as well as primarymarket research in the form of surveys as well as phone interviewswith key opinion leaders, industry experts, and senior physiciansglobally. This position is a great fit for an early-careerlife-sciences professional who enjoys research and writing and islooking for an opportunity to grow their expertise in theHealthcare/Pharma industry.

Whatyou'll be doing...

  • Contribute to high-quality market analysis deliverablesin the Oncology portfolio
  • Write in-depthmarket research reports and PR pieces on current marketevents
  • Analyze a disease market from astrategic perspective
  • Assess and forecast themarket opportunity for agents in clinical development
  • Represent the company at client presentations,conferences, and with the media
  • Interactdirectly with pharmaceutical clients to addressinquiries

 

What we’re lookingfor…

  • M.S., M.P.H., orPhD in the life sciences. An educational background in the biologyof cancer is strongly preferred, or demonstration of stronginterest in the field.
  • Work experience in theHealthcare industry or at a company specializing inHealthcare-associated syndicated reports or competitiveintelligence is not essential, but would be an advantage
  • Fast Learner – able to understand new ideasquickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills
  • Excellent written and oralcommunication skills – much of this job involves writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;Advanced Excel skills are a plus
  • Strongsecondary research skills, especially scientific literature andinternet searches
