Reporting into the Home Manager/Chef Manager, responsibilities willinclude:

  • Assisting inevery aspect of the catering operation within the home forresidents and team members, delivering a high quality service anddining experience in line with all health, safety & hygienerequirements.
  • Delivering varied, nutritiousand appetising menu options for our residents, taking into accountof any special dietary needs, allergen information and retainingrecords for inspection purposes.
  • Working weekwhich offers an exceptional work life balance with social flexiblehours. 
  • Liaising with approved suppliersto ensure efficient delivery of orders, in line with the companypolicy and procedures to maintain appropriate stock levels andbudget control.
  • Assisting with the Food SafetyManagement System including COSHH Management and cleaning rota, toensure the regular cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment andappliances to meet the high standards of cleanliness necessary infood storage, preparation and service areas.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasksand in line with the Food Safety Management Systems, by assessingrisk and having due regard for personal safety of residents,visitors and team members.
