About the Opportunity
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, providing timely and accurate analysis of financial results and operating metrics
  • AP and AR
  • Depreciations
  • Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations 
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger structure
  • Create and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure monthly closing entries are set up, and done correctly.
  • Work closely with Operations team members.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal reporting requirements. Responsible for accurate and complete accounting records and preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and yearly remittances, filings, obligations, etc. as may be required.
  • Review and interpret financial statements and operations to facilitate better upper management decision-making
  • Develop and or improve on current financial and management reporting
  • Work with the  Manager to ensure a clean and timely year-end review, including preparation of information required to create annual financial statements and tax returns
  • Support management with special projects and workflow process improvements 
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • FX Hedging 
  • Perform other related duties as required

About You
  • B. Com or similar degree 
  • CPA Designation or working towards it
  • Experience in AP and AR
  • Min 2 years of relevant accounting and finance experience 
  • Intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, without needing supervision
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information and maintaining records. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, both oral and written. Willing to take responsibility and be held accountable for results
  • Drivers License and access to a car

Salary Range
$80,000/year
