An excitingopportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Scrub Practitioner atThe Yorkshire Clinic Private Hospital in Bingley. We are lookingfor a passionate individual to take on the responsibility of ScrubPractitioner. The successful candidate will have current NMC/HCPregistration and previous scrub practitionerexperience.

The hospital provides care topatients on an in-patient and day-case basis with five operatingtheatres as well as Endoscopy and Recovery, offering a wide rangeof specialties for Private and NHSpatients.

What youneed to know:

To succeed in this roleyou will need to have a strong clinical background in acutesurgical care with demonstrable leadership and personnel managementskills. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to beable to grow the role as a key part of the hospital to ensure theTheatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and WellLed.

The successful candidatewill work in collaboration with the Theatre Manager, developingexcellent working relationships with staff members, consultants andkey stakeholders.

They will assist in drivingsustainable excellence in the safety and quality of care andservices.

They will support the Quality agenda bymonitoring achievements against required standards, identifyingrisks to quality of care and services and planning, recommending/implementing changes for continuousimprovement.

Essentialexperience and qualifications for thisrole:

  • ODP level 3 / RN(1)
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevantclinical standards
  • Excellent communicationskills
  • Sound computer skills andknowledge
  • A registered member with theNMC/HCP
