Automation Technician

In this role, youll work within the Electrical and Automation Department, contributing to control panel design, PLC programming, and on-site machine commissioning. Automation Technician

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, control panel specification/design, and PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in programming touchscreens and control systems.
  • Knowledge of vision systems and SCADA systems integration.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or familiarity with explosive atmosphere regulations is desirable.
  • Formal Electrical Engineering qualification.

Automation Technician

Salary and Benefits:

Automation Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Designing advanced PLC-based electrical control systems from detailed design specifications.
  • Programming and configuring PLCs, touchscreens, and safety relay systems for seamless operation.
  • Setting up remote I/O systems, servo motors, and inverter drives to optimize performance.
  • Integrating cutting-edge ancillary equipment, such as vision systems, into production lines for enhanced efficiency.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical control systems, PLCs, and hardwired systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Leading commissioning, providing expert support, and delivering exceptional service at customer sites.
