Their platform allows clients to consolidate tax wrappers, ISAs, pensions, and more, all in one place, providing exceptional value and insight to their customers.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the BA team and play a pivotal role in driving the company’s API transformation. This is not just about connecting APIs – you will be leading the shift toward building in-house APIs and helping to shape the future of how the business interacts with its data and systems.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll be instrumental in formulating and implementing the company’s new API strategy, ensuring the transition is smooth and impactful. Your expertise will help guide the business in developing scalable, internal API solutions, with the opportunity to make a significant transformational impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s transition from integrating external APIs to developing in-house APIs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement an API strategy.
- Work closely with technical teams to build, refine, and optimise API solutions.
- Guide the business through the change process and ensure the new API structure is scalable and effective.
- Provide mentorship to other team members and assist in upskilling the team in API development best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the API environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on API development and strategy.
- Experience in a company that has gone through the transition from using external APIs to developing internal APIs.
- Familiarity with financial services or tax-related platforms is desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive change and influence across teams.
