We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

Nestled in the heart of Tonbridge, this prestigious independent school caters lunches for 600 pupils (Monday -Friday)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a kitchen porter to make a name for themselves within the food service industry and be a part of setting the new standard for education catering.



Job Description

As a Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and washing all kitchen and service items efficiently
  • Assisting in food preparation as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and restaurant areas
  • Operating heavy equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
  • Projecting a helpful attitude and exceeding customer expectations
  • Cooperating with team members to ensure efficient service
  • Following health and safety, food safety, and COSHH standards
  • Adhering to cleaning schedules and attending required training
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the business
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's safeguarding policies


Qualifications

  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
