JobDescription:
As a GeneralLedger Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledgercontrolling and reporting, compliance, tax, statutory, and multiplegeneral accounting and reporting activities, along with a range ofother financial reconciliation and control tasks as required withinthe team.
What You Will Be Doing atArrow?
- Control and managethe accuracy of General Ledger for the assigned Arrowcompanies.
- Complete all relevant month-endfinancial close procedures including necessary accruals andprepayments activities.
- Prepare and beresponsible for all necessary internal reporting required withinEurope and to US head office.
- Facilities andrestructuring accounting and control.
- Carry outrelevant Sarbanes Oxley controls.
- Hedging andRevaluation.
- Headcount reporting, control andforecasting support.
- Statutory accounting andcorporation tax work.
- Statutory/Corporatereconciliations and Europeanconsolidation.
- Control and prepare VAT,Intrastat and Sales List Reporting, submission of Vat Returns andrelated compliance.
- Support and be involvedwith all audit work.
- Manage the fixed assetregister and all relevant accounting, liaising with the accountspayable clerks and other business areas whererequired.
- Prepare any necessary varianceanalysis for all the above.
- Support otheraccountants within the team on a variety of tasks in order to meetthe total needs of the financedepartment.
- Involvement with developingnew/efficient processes/procedures within the accountingteam.
- Provide support and assistance to theAccounting Manager on projects and ad-hoctasks.
- Manage other staff whereappropriate.

- You'vegot 5+ years of experience in all-roundaccounting.
- You've got a very good knowledge ofgeneral accounting and reportingprocesses.
- You've got fluentEnglish and Spanish languageskills.
- You've got experience with making anaccrual, prepaid, VAT, balance sheetreconciliation.
- You've got advancedExcel and data manipulationskills.
- You are a results-drivenperson.
- You can work under pressure andmeet deadlines.
- You've gotthe ability to prioritize yourtasks.
