Our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Solutions team are looking for a Design Lead to work on our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance - alongside Morrison Water Services - to deliver Scottish Water's SR21 Water & Wastewater infrastructure programme.

In this position, you will play a key role in the Improving Urban Waters programme for Scottish Water, as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO's, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges. • Collaborate: Identify when there is a need for design resources and specialist input (ecological, geotechnical, hydraulic modelling, MEICA etc.)
  • Lead: Supervise and mentor junior engineers while liaising with the construction delivery team to provide solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Quality: Check and approve design approaches, calculations, drawings, and technical reports while adhering to SW Specification & Standards and following CDM Health & Safety procedures.
If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you.
