Their newly established reinsurance division, lead by a highly reputable SVP, is now looking to hire a Reinsurance analyst/Actuary to join their London team to support their newly appointed Senior Actuary/underwriting hires and the wider business in a technical setting.


Our client is a market leader in niche, emerging markets, driving innovation through bespoke insurance solutions for an ever evolving client base, who are at the forefront of financial and societal innovation.


The Reinsurance Analyst/Actuary will contribute to the Outwards strategy across all insurance lines (both on new and renewal ceded reinsurance treaties, and facultative placements). In addition to this, you you will also provide pricing support and analysis new and renewal inward reinsurance accounts. The role sits within the Reinsurance Underwriting team so strong business acumen and commercial presence will be required in addition to technical actuarial capabilities.

- reinsurance/pricing experience

- understanding of reinsurance underwriting

- strong technical skills for actuarial modelling (Pricing)
