SOLUTIONSENGINEER

Arrow's Enterprise ComputingSolutions is looking for a Solutions Engineer. In this position,you will be responsible for provide pre-sales support for alignedArrow vendors, working closely with other Solutions Engineers andArchitects, as well as aligned commercial teams, to support partnerand customer activities within the networking and securityfield.

What will you be doing at ArrowECS?
  • You will beresponsible for achieving and maintaining technical requirements asset out by aligned vendors, including base level of certificationswhere appropriate.
  • Maintaining an awareness andunderstanding of current security landscape, with a focus onaligned vendors.
  • Identifying and supportingcomplex solutions opportunities.
  • Maintaining anawareness of Arrow line card vendors, outside of own vendoralignments.
  • Providing consistently accurate andrelevant technical information, to be a trusted advisor to bothpartners and other teams withinArrow.
  • Maintaining and growing key customer andpartner relationships.
  • Supporting Arrow'sstrategic goals, on a divisionalscale.
  • Focusing on technical needs of emerging,or underpenetrated prospects. Understanding all of Arrow'ssolutions and can match those solutions to customer businessneeds.
  • Driving/creating new opportunities andproduct selection within their aligned accounts and recognizingactivity relevant to other technical resources asneeded.
  • Recognizing and highlightingopportunities for growth and enablement, as well as new servicesthat may beprovided.


Whatare we looking for?
  • Youhave experience in a similar position within solutionsengineering/pre-sales engineering within a relevantsector.
  • Experience in network andsecurity.
  • Can build and develop strategicbusiness relationships.
  • 5+ years TechnicalInformation Technologybackground/experience.
  • Effective communicationwith people at alllevels.
