Salary:        £22,300.00 per annum

Hours:        40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:     Permanent, Term TimeOnly

Aspart of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunityfor a School Receptionist to join our close-knit team at PapworthHall School, part of Options Autism.

The opportunity

*        To be thewelcoming face of the school when visitors, pupils and staff visitthe school.

*        Support theSenior Leadership Team, and colleagues in Education and Therapydepartments.

*        Undertake arange of duties in a busy school environment that supportsextremely complex and vulnerable students.

Responsibilities

*        Contribute tothe life and community of the school in all ofits aspects

*        To work withinthe philosophy of the school at all times

*        Welcomingvisitors to the school in a professional manner

*        Ensure alladministrative tasks are completed on time (for example, recordingattendance, calling non-attenders, producing attendance datadocuments etc.)

*        To ensure thatthe school reception area operates in an efficient manner andsupport with a range of administration tasks.

Essential

*        GCSEs in Mathsand English, grade C or above (or equivalent)

*        Confident userof ICT including all Microsoft office applications (Excel inparticular) and Outlook

*        Ability towork as part of a team

*        Flexibleapproach to working

*        Ability tobuild relationships with adults & young people

*        Ability towork on own initiative

*        Willing toundertake training on various in-house software packages

*        Ability toprioritise tasks

*        Ability towork under pressure and meet reporting deadlines

*        Self-motivatedwith the ability to multi-task

Desirable

*        Previousexperience of working with young people, preferably in aneducational setting

*        DrivingLicense

*        Experience ina high-volume transaction environment.

*        Experience ofBACS payment systems.
