Agility Eco are recruiting for a Project Manager to jointhe team  This is a hybrid role and can be from our Aylesburyor Sutton office   You will beinvolved in managing various projectsincluding:
  • WarmHouse Fund - providing retrofit energyefficiency upgrades to make customers’ homes warmer and cheaper toheat.  These include air source heat pumps and insulationmeasures.
  • HomeUpgrade Grants - supportinghouseholds with the installation of a range of energy efficiency,low carbon heating and renewable energy generationmeasures.
  • Warmhomes: local grant - this recently announcedscheme will run from April 2025 – March 2028 as a successor to theHUG scheme and will provide energy efficiency and renewablemeasures for low income households. AgilityEco anticipatepartnering with a large number of local authorities to access thisfunding and delivery support to households in theirarea.
  • LEAP- Warm Homes Discount Industry Initiativeproject, providing important advice, support and energy savingmeasures to fuel poor and vulnerable households referred by localauthorities and local referral agencies
  • ECHO - providesimmediate help to vulnerable residents whose boilers have brokendown. Over the past three years ECHO has repaired or replaced over5,000 boilers.
AgilityEco is actively exploring the requirements tosupport different types of customers and to increasingly focus uponrenewables in line with GB’s net zero strategy. The projectsthe team are responsible for will evolve overtime.    It is expected thatthe Project Manager will have direct accountability for a clientand one or more direct reports. This role reports into the SeniorManager.   Whatyou'll be doing:
  • Setting the plan for generating customer demand forretrofit upgrades, across AgilityEco’s own channels and usingrelationships with Local Authorities and other referralorganisations. 
  • Developing,agreeing and managing the project deliveryforecast.
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered tobudget working with colleagues to provide accurate cashflowforecasts. 
  • Defining the project specific customer journeys,establishing target metrics and ensuring that customer experiencemeets appropriate standards and is in line with contractualcommitments and client expectations.
  • Be the key point ofcontact for client(s) to develop a successful partnership to ensuresuccessful delivery against their aims andobjectives.
  • Responsibility forproject planning and governance activities to provide oversight ofour internal team’s delivery against contract KPIs and internaltargets. This will include a close working relationship with ourApplications, Customer Services, Supply Chain, Installers andInstallation Ops teams to ensure efficient delivery of work by oursupply chain partners and working to overcome barriers and resolveissues.
  • Making use ofavailable data sources to monitor project delivery as well asworking with colleagues to develop new methods to better manageprojects.
  • Ensuring that arobust audit trail is in place to evidence the proper use ofproject funds including appropriate quality assuranceactivities.
  • Providing trainingand support to colleagues to aid in the delivery of the project(s).This may include the development of written guidance, the provisionof training sessions and ad-hocsupport.  
  • Any otherreasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may beallocated from time to time.
What we need fromyou:
  • At least 2 years project managementexperience
  • Project managementqualification
  • Experience inmanaging internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the energy efficiency,renewables and fuel poverty sector  
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Analytical skills including advanced use ofspreadsheets
  • Critical thinkingand problem-solving skills
  • Delivery focus – able to identify andsolve blockers to ensure delivery stays ontrack.
