You will act as an ambassador of the team on multiple forums with stakeholders as may be required. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence and achieving our strategic objectives. This position will report to the Teams manager.

What your responsibilities will be: 

  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex issues and questions that analysts encounter during their daytoday operations. Provide timely and effective resolutions to ensure smooth workflow and optimal outcomes.
  • Review and approve escalations and/ or decisions made by analysts ensuring accuracy adherence to guidelines and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks on all reviews assessments and reports produced by analysts. Ensure the highest level of accuracy completeness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within the team. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements and optimise workflows.
  • Represent the team in both internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Ensure the teams practices and outputs are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead and manage tactical projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams set project timelines and ensure successful project delivery within defined parameters.
  • Take responsibility for delivering on special projects as agreed upon by the management or senior leadership. These projects may be ad hoc and require a strategic approach to achieve specific objectives.
  • Handle and respond to external Requests for Information (RFIs) from clients partners or regulatory bodies. Provide accurate and timely responses while maintaining a professional and positive image for the organization.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach for analysts supporting their professional growth and skill development by partnering with the respective Team Leader.

Qualifications :

What you will need to be successful (skills and competencies):
 

  • Proven experience in a similar analyst role preferably with at least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent mentoring abilities with a track record of effectively guiding and coaching team members
  • Proficiency in project management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Understanding of the payments landscape and processes
  • Ability to continuously monitor and manage competing priorities and adjust accordingly
  • Cross team collaboration
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Working knowledge of using tools and processes to troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes have a curious mind with a high performance mindset
  • Experience in handling audits and regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payment industry/compliance regulations standards and best practices is preferred

Experience you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements and participating in audits is valuable. A Senior Analyst should understand the importance of compliance and have the ability to represent the team confidently during audits.
  • Be responsible to partner with Team Leaders by providing constructive feedback with a view to identify areas of development for analysts
  • Effective communication skills are vital for a Senior Analyst to interact with team members management clients and other stakeholders. They should be able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • The Senior Analyst should have a track record of solving complex problems and making datadriven decisions. They should be able to approach challenges creatively and provide innovative solutions.
