A bit about the job: As a DataSolution Architect in Group Architecture, you will be a key memberof the strategy and architecture team and work within the businessto champion a data-driven approach to shape strategic change atAviva. The role includes the following deliverables: 1. A plan forthe data architecture work that sets out the activities includinganalysis, documentation, communications. Then work closely with thewider project team to build this into an achievable plan. 2.Documentation of the end-to-end solution incorporating: * Thecontext for the solution with options and key design decisions *Functional and non-functional data requirements * Architecturaltransition states to arrive at the target solution, migrationstrategies where appropriate Skills and experience we're lookingfor: 1. Expertise in data architecture and solution architecture.2. Experience of working within the insurance industry andknowledge of how data underpins an insurance business. 3. Provenbackground of working on large transformation projects and actingas a thought leader for data. 4. Experience and knowledge ofworking within a data mesh-based architecture as a lead architectto plan and shape the solution. 5. Strong communication skills withthe ability to use different tools, techniques or communicationstyles to suit the situation and audience. What you'll get for thisrole: 1. National Salary up to £65,900 - London Salary up to£88,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, andqualifications) 2. Bonus opportunity - 10 % of annual salary.Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's. 3. Generouspension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on whatyou put in. 4. 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you canchoose to buy or sell up to 5 days. 5.
